The town’s prosperity is capped with fitting thanksgiving fiesta celebration that kicks-off with the commemoration of the town’s foundation day on the 21st of April. It is followed by month-long period of festival called “Halamang Dilaw”. The festivities include fair, physical activities, Lakan and Lakambini personality contest, concert, street dancing and culminating religious celebrations like procession, novena and mass.
Historical & Religious SitesMarilao is the proud home to one of the most important religious destinations in Bulacan, the Divine Mercy National Shrine. Located in barangay Sta Rosa II, the church premise is spacious enough to accommodate the numerous vigils coming from the different parts of the country.
